My Travel-Inspired Music Project

It’s a little late, but happy 2017! I normally don’t bother with New Year’s resolutions, but this year I decided I should at least start doing certain things that I’d been meaning to do but because of different reasons (or excuses) I still hadn’t. One of these things is a music project that I’ve had in mind for a couple of years – one of the reasons why I changed this blog’s name to ‘Each City a Rhapsody’ – to compose a short piece for each place that has inspired me.

For Christmas I’ve received a mini keyboard from Dr. F, which makes it a lot easier to write music on the computer, so I thought, why not start now?

The first piece of the series is inspired by Heidelberg – more specifically Heidelberg’s morning – the city where this blog began. I’d like to dedicate it to Dr. F and all of my precious friends who I’ve met in the beautiful university town. Without further ado, here’s the video! I hope you will enjoy it. 🙂

I don’t know how frequent I’ll be writing music for this project, but hopefully I’ll keep it up in the coming months! Until next time…
